A. Our jewelry and astrology chart reports both were inspired by the Bell 47 (M*A*S*H) helicopter inventor.  Arthur M. Young was also a philosopher creating a new meta-paradigm, or overview of life called the Theory of Process.

Q. How can such a person know anything about astrology, let alone fine jewelry?

A. My parents studied at a wisdom school that gave classes in astrology. Arthur and his wife were also students.  Arthur wanted to know the secrets of creation and found out that astrology holds a big key.

Q. Why is astrology important, and how can it help the average thoughtful person today?

A. Arthur said we have lost our compass and civilization has derailed, but astrology can help us get back on track. It has a more complete description of universal functions than Newtonian mechanics supporting Darwinian Materialism, the current world belief system. On a personal level if you know your chart and the basics of transiting planets, you have a compass to help you move in confidence and delight. 

Q. That's a mouthful begging more questions, but for now, where does talisman jewelry fit in?

A. Arthur looked at my chart to see I had a good creative imagination and strong interest in spirituality. One day at supper he said I might be good making custom jewelry based on individual charts. I had never seen a jeweler's bench and hadn't a clue about setting a stone, but I knew jewelry fads came and went with good ones enduring. We could take Zodiac sign charms to the next level. Someone quipped, "Move over, birthstone of the month, we're going planetary!" Later I learned after sports and pornography, astrology had become # 3 in user appeal on the Internet.

Q. What is the leap of faith that Gemscope is making?

A. Most astrology falls short in showing your life as part of the longer story of your soul incarnating in different cultures at different times.  My background highlighted the soul and this era of accelerated change.
